It’s no secret getting to Park City from the Salt Lake City international airport is usually smooth sailing, but the one time the drive tends to halt is during the first weekend of the Sundance Film Festival. Never fear, the creative cats at Uber have a solution that’s become the talk of the town, UberChopper.
If you are as fascinated by choppers as we are, you may be considering booking a ride just for the experience (we are). For starters, it is incredibly affordable at $150-$300 per person (some of the car service companies charge nearly that). If you actually need a ride from the airport over the next few days, it is a no-brainer.
Here’s the deal:
HOW TO CHOPPER
• Reserve your spot on the UberCHOPPER in advance, or request CHOPPER on-demand through your Uber app. • Await a phone call for final confirmation. • You’ll arrive to the UberCHOPPER helipad by UberSUV, and once you’ve arrived in Park City, we’ll have a car waiting to take you to your final destination.
• Fares When pre-booking your flight, fares will be $150 during the day and $250 at night (per seat). When requesting your UberCHOPPER on-demand, fares will be $200 during the day and $300 at night (per seat). • Seats up to 5 people. • All air services advertised will be provided by Air Resources.
• UberCHOPPER is available January 21 – 24, from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM (weather permitting).

The Sundance Film Festival hasn’t even started yet, but we are thinking this may win #bestoffest!
